By making healthy food more accessible, we believe that humankind can feel, think, and do better.Role DescriptionThe Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient flow of product through the warehouse, including unloading, loading, put-away/store-away, and order picking. This role works in a cooler/refrigerated environment and is essential to maintaining accurate inventory and on-time fulfillment.Specific Responsibilities:Receive inbound shipments by unloading, verifying, and staging materials according to receiving proceduresLoad outbound shipments accurately and safely to meet daily dispatch requirementsPick and build orders following the daily order sheet, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO and product handling standardsOperate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, step ladders, etc.) safely and in compliance with training and certification requirementsAlign daily priorities by communicating proactively with supervisors and supporting team workflowMaintain warehouse organization through consistent application of 5S principlesConduct pre-operation inspections and routine cleaning to keep all material handling equipment in optimal working conditionEnsure WMS accuracy by keeping all physical movements aligned with ParityFactory transactions in real timePerform general housekeeping and sanitation to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentOther duties as assignedRequirements:Must be 18 years or older1-3 years of relevant experience in material handling and operating a forkliftFood manufacturing experience: 1 year (Preferred)Willingness to learn and take on tasks with quality and timeliness of workAbility to maintain discipline in repetitive tasks and communicate effectively with any concernsHighly organized, methodical, disciplined, and detail-orientedSelf sufficient in looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of workEnglish speakingPhysical and Work Related Requirements:Standing and walking for long periods of timeRepetitive motion for long periods of timeBending and lifting up to 50 LBAbility to handle allergens including peanuts and treenutsCarrying, stooping, grasping, twisting, communicating with co-workersMust be able to read or distinguish by color between product types and labelsWilling and able to work in an environment of 34 to 37 degrees and also spend some time in a 25 degree freezer
