Hyve is growing in Miami, and we’re looking for 4  ambitious Business Development Managers to join our founding team and be part of this exciting next chapter. 

You’ll be responsible for winning new sponsorship, exhibition and partnership business across a range of Hyve's leading global B2B event brands, giving you exposure to different industries, markets and customers. 

This is a true new business role. You’ll create your own pipeline, open doors and own the full sales journey — from first conversation through to negotiation and close.

As part of your role, you'll: 

• Meet and exceed ambitious new business revenue targets.
• Build your own pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and market research.
• Identify, engage and win new sponsors, exhibitors and commercial partners across HYVE’s brands.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and understand what matters to their business.
• Create tailored sponsorship and partnership solutions that deliver against customer objectives.
• Own the full sales cycle — from first outreach and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Keep a strong handle on your pipeline, activity and forecasting through our CRM.
• Work closely with Marketing, Content, Operations and Customer Success to deliver a brilliant customer experience.
• Stay close to your market, spotting new trends, prospects and commercial opportunities before others do.

 
What we're looking for 
You'll bring: 

• 2–5 years’ experience in consultative B2B sales, with a strong focus on winning new business.
• A proven track record of building your own pipeline and consistently delivering against revenue targets.
• Confidence owning the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close.
• The ability to build relationships and credibility with decision-makers.
• Strong commercial instincts, with great negotiation, objection-handling and closing skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms to manage your pipeline and forecast accurately.
• A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach — you’re someone who makes things happen rather than waits for them to happen.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time  to meet customers and attend industry events.

 
Nice to have 

• Experience selling sponsorships, exhibitions or partnerships within B2B events.
• An existing network across industries such as technology, healthcare, retail, fintech, manufacturing or energy.
• Experience selling into enterprise organizations and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.

• Competitive base salary of $80,000–$100,000 , depending on experience.
