Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Travel experience required Description: CVICU experience is required. Travelers are allowed one call-out per contract. If there is a second call-out, proper documentation is required and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The facility is Joint Commission Accredited. It has 171 beds and serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. The facility is a certified Chest Pain Center and a Level III Trauma Center. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses treated include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, alcohol withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Weekend hours may be assigned, and call requirements are applicable. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. The equipment utilized includes Baxter pumps. The electronic health record system in use is Medhost. The position may require floating to the Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed. Candidates should possess a complete submittal packet including a resume and skills checklist. Dress code includes scrubs in any color, with no unacceptable attire specified.
