Position Summary As a Deal Origination Associate, you will play a key role in directly contacting acquisition targets/companies for our private equity clients. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven position requiring exceptional communication, persistence, and organization. You’ll be on the front lines of the M&A process — reaching out directly to business owners, understanding their motivations, and setting the stage for successful transactions. Key Responsibilities Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day to business owners, founders, and executives to discuss acquisition opportunities. Qualify leads, set appointments, and manage the handoff process. Maintain accurate and detailed records of activity and pipeline metrics within our CRM system (Salesforce). Collaborate closely with team members to track performance, report results, and meet aggressive weekly and monthly KPIs. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BowPoint’s sourcing systems and processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Exceptional work ethic, self-discipline, and an ability to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and confident phone presence — not afraid of cold calling. 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or financial services is preferred.
