Maintenance Tech - Jacksonville, FL

Job Location We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. Position will start and train on 1st shift and will move to 3rd shift schedule after training is complete. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3rd Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM Plus overtime as needed, including some weekends. JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician III supports production operations by performing preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs production equipment, and performs repairs and maintenance of facility. Completes preventive maintenance and general maintenance in proper working order while abiding by all specified rules and regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performing troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems. Analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Assist with the service and repairing of more complex equipment. Ability to repair all electrical wiring, electronic and electrical equipment (24 to 480 Volts) Complying with applicable regulations according to OSHA and the department's Safety program. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC programs. Provide scheduled and emergency repairs to production equipment during production shift. Install and maintain production/facility equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance.
