Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with some call coverage on weekends. May require late hours on high caseload days.

Assignment Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Current RN licensure
- 3 years of experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU
- ACLS certification
- CNOR certification preferred
- Scrub experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care across pre-operative, intra-operative (circulator), and postoperative (PACU) settings.
- Conduct assessments, document care, and provide emotional support to patients.
- Coordinate patient transfers and assist in the processing of instruments and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to infection control principles and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide patient education.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must be able to perform effectively in stressful situations and exhibit good communication skills.
- Physical demands include long periods of standing and walking, as well as heavy lifting.
- Possible exposure to blood and body fluids.
