Job Title: RRT
Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $62 - $67/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a RRT:
• Evaluates patient outcomes making changes in plan of care within the multidisciplinary team
• Provides explanation and instructions to patients and/or responsible persons and ensures understanding with regard to respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge
• Accepts reassignment to other units when necessary
• Shares clinical knowledge with staff and students and serves as a role model for clinical practice
• Plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of respiratory care
• Provides respiratory care as ordered by physician, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff
• Maintains required licensure and certifications including RRT, Illinois License, BLS, and NRP-MHC
