Clinical Assistant

Support clinicians with room preparation, patient preparation, appointments, and patient care activities within scope of practice Clean and maintain equipment, order inventory, and restock supplies Perform procedures, collect and analyze data, and inform clinical decisions regarding patient care Respond to and follow up on referrals and inquiries from patient families Maintain, monitor, organize, input, audit, and ensure integrity of data and records Generate and disseminate reports and assist with process improvement or automation Perform administrative functions including ordering supplies, sorting mail, scheduling meetings, preparing and scanning documents, photocopying, and maintaining files Support recruitment activities, special projects, travel arrangements, and cross-functional duties as needed Support regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, safety policies, and departmental procedures Integrate age-specific and culturally inclusive concepts into patient care Provide assistance with patient-related activities within a clinical discipline Requirements High school diploma or equivalent No directly related experience required Audiology Aide License by the State of Ohio, where applicable Individual certifications and Safety College requirements must be fulfilled in a timely basis Part-time availability for the evening shift (17:30–22:30) Ability to work 10 weekly hours (0.25 FTE) Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in patient care activities, data management, and regulatory compliance while supporting clinicians in a clinical environment. Capable of performing administrative functions and maintaining equipment and supplies effectively.
