Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Irving, TX - Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite One of Vaco's midmarket clients has given us the search to onboard a Senior Accountant due to continued growth of the company. They are looking for folks coming out of more dynamic environments with lots of moving parts. This is a great culture (very mentorship driven, approachable environment) and regular 40-45 hour work weeks. Compensation: $90-95k + 10% bonus Role Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes for a multi-location setup Bank reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, etc. - will get exposure to a lot of areas Would like someone with strong intercompany experience - company has over 100 entities Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS. Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently applied and in accordance with U.S. GAAP Requires strong communication and the ability to interact with several members of the accounting and finance team across the organization at varying levels. Position will need to be self-motivated with extensive US GAAP knowledge, process implementation and internal controls experience.
