We are currently seeking a Bindery Operator for our 2nd Shift team. Position Summary As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for operating finishing equipment to ensure high-quality printed materials are completed accurately and on time. You'll work with a variety of bindery equipment and play an important role in delivering finished products that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Operate bindery equipment while following all safety, quality, and production standards. Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements. Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accuracy throughout the production process. Operate equipment efficiently to meet productivity and quality goals. Perform finishing processes such as: Cutting Folding Die cutting Saddle stitching Drilling Padding Scoring Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Assist with additional production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous bindery or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Basic math skills, including decimals and metric measurements. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
