CareBuilders at Home - Marietta, GA, is currently seeking a Caregiver to join our team in Kennesaw, GA.

Compensation for this role ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to individuals in need

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.

• Observe and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate parties

Requirements:

• Must be certified to work as a caregiver in the State of GA (GA 40-hour Caregiver certification or PCA minimum). 

• Previous experience as a caregiver strongly preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow daily care plans and their detailed instructions

• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• This position requires schedule flexibility. In-home care schedules are based on each client’s needs and are not always traditional 8-hour shifts or 40-hour workweeks. PCA shifts may include shorter visits starting around 2 hours or longer shifts ranging from 4–8 hours.

• Applicants should be comfortable with varying weekly hours. Shorter client visits may offer a higher hourly rate, while longer shifts may provide more consistent scheduling. Reliability, flexibility, and availability are important for matching caregivers with the right clients.
