This job, translated
to you . Out loud.

A short audio brief made for one listener: you. It takes what you shared in your story and what this company published about the Heavy-Duty Fabrication & Installation Technician role, and connects the two in plain language: where your experience lines up, what the work really looks like, and what could be worth a closer look. Every line traces to a real source, and it stays yours alone unless you choose to share it.

Three taps of work on your side, none. It writes itself from your story and this posting, you read it first, and only your go-ahead gives it a voice. Ready in about a minute, yours to keep or delete.

This role is hands-on fabrication and installation work at Kriete Truck Centers, a family-owned dealership group that has been operating since 1951. You will upfit, assemble, and customize light and heavy-duty trucks to customer specifications, which means building and installing truck bodies, dump bodies, loaders, lift axles, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Every vehicle you work on is going back out to a driver who depends on it, whether that is a fleet hauling freight or an owner-operator running their own business. You will use shop equipment including welders, plasma cutters, and hand tools daily, and you are expected to document your work accurately through repair orders. Success in this role looks like clean, safe, timely builds that meet customer specs and keep vehicles moving. The team values self-sufficiency, attention to safety, and an organized work area.
