Principal Product Manager, Digital Vehicle Experience

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• We prefer an MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
• We are looking for 8+ years of progressive experience in product planning, product strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, automotive technology, engineering, consulting, or a related area.
• We require 5+ years of experience in automotive infotainment, connected vehicles, digital services, consumer electronics, software-defined vehicles, or a similar technology-focused product domain.
• We seek demonstrated experience leading product strategy or business planning from initial concept and business-case development through organizational alignment and implementation planning.
• We need experience evaluating customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, technology developments, and financial considerations to support product and investment decisions.
• We value experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving business, engineering, design, finance, legal, procurement, operations, and external partners.
• We require experience developing business cases, assessing revenue and cost models, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• We prefer experience working with global organizations, technology suppliers, content or service providers, and other strategic partners.

• We lead cross-functional planning efforts to turn product strategies into executable implementation roadmaps.
• We align business, engineering, design, operations, and partner organizations to support efficient product delivery.
• We establish product requirements, launch plans, and lifecycle strategies that enable successful deployment across Honda vehicle programs.
• We facilitate timely decisions by balancing customer expectations, technical feasibility, program timing, and business goals.
• We continuously analyze customer trends, competitive offerings, emerging technologies, and industry developments related to infotainment and digital vehicle experiences.
• We identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, market competitiveness, and long-term product adoption.
• We provide data-driven insights and strategic guidance to leadership and stakeholders.
• We champion the voice of the customer throughout product planning and portfolio prioritization activities.
