Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holidays as needed. No call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage diverse patient cases in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality care and compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Handle a variety of emergency cases, including trauma and medical emergencies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
• Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests, adhering to best practices and protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing required.
• Current RN license required. EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred.
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred.
