Training & Performance Specialist - Third Shift Job Category : Operations Requisition Number : TRAIN009370 Full-Time Location GYR USA Buckeye AZ 24105 W Southern Ave Buckeye, AZ 85326, USA Maintains records of training activities and training needs, monitors program effectiveness, and recommends improvements. Tracks and reports on employee participation or assessment results. Coordinates materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology and virtual or physical conference rooms. Assists employees in use of Learning Management System. May conduct needs assessments, focus groups or employee interviews to identify areas for improvement. Provides ongoing coordination and support of the company’s Leadership Development Program. Provides ongoing coordination and support of the company’s Talent Management Program. Other duties assigned. Other Skills & Abilities Pays attention to detail and accuracy. Possesses good interpersonal skills and ability to listen effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Has strong problem-solving and analytical ability. Demonstrated ability to show good judgment at all times. Physical Requirements Must be able to work a 3rd shift schedule (example: 9:00 pm - 5:00am). Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment. Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location. Education & Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in training and development. Experience working in a global multi-cultural environment. Experience in the Logistics/Warehousing industry. Experience developing training/learning content and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Familiarity with eLearning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Microsoft Office or similar is a plus. Proficient with MS Office or related office suite software. Certifications & Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas.
