Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Previous restaurant management experience required
High-volume restaurant experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lead and motivate hourly teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities
Experience supporting food, labor, and operational cost controls
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and adapt quickly
Proficient in basic computer and restaurant management systems
Must maintain a valid driver’s license
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Fast casual, casual dining, buffet, or family dining experience
Experience leading high-volume hourly teams
Community-oriented and hospitality-driven leadership style
Strong coaching and team development mindset
Operationally strong with attention to cleanliness, food quality, and guest experience
Experience with sales-driving initiatives and local store marketing
Positive, servant-leadership mentality
Stable career progression and strong tenure preferred

This role is highly operational and guest-facing. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in daily operations while helping build team culture, drive guest satisfaction, and support overall business performance.
