Cashier Position at Columbus Ace Hardware

Columbus Ace Hardware is adding a cashier! The ideal candidate can work some daytime hours, but is also available to work until 7pm. Some weekends are required and this is a part time position. Get paid daily! We've partnered with DailyPay to offer employees more control over their earnings!!!

Summary

The responsibilities of the Ace Hardware Cashier is to scan the customer's selections, ensure that the prices and quantities are accurate, accept payment, issue receipts, answer inquiries, provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions, item location and some stocking. Cashiers also respond to complaints with genuine concern, assist the Store Director in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while working in a safe manner.

• Keeps work station and surrounding area clean, organized and well stocked
• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
