Position Registered Nurse (RN) – part‑time, days Location Good Samaritan – Ambassador, New Hope, MN Work Schedule & Compensation Shift: Days (6:30am – 3:00pm) Schedule: 2 shifts (16 hours) per two‑week pay period Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) required and holiday rotation required Additional $1.25 per hour for weekend hours and hours after 6pm Cross‑trained to support both long‑term care and post‑acute/TCU units Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge, using appropriate age and population‑specific standards in the assigned clinical setting. Provide care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, perform resident assessment, provide resident education, and perform various other nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse when appropriate and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their job descriptions and competence levels. Provide assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure. Qualifications Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) or holds a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring. Possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
