Registered Nurse (RN) - Transplant

Transplant Coordinator – Cellular Therapy

Schedule: Shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
• Hematology/Oncology experience required
• Navigator/Case Manager experience required
• Pre-transplant evaluation and assessment experience required
• Epic experience required
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
• Licensure: NC or Compact license pending acceptance

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care from candidate identification through workup, harvest, and infusion
• Schedule testing and appointments
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings
• Monitor vitals, fluid balance, and graft function
• Educate patients and families on medication adherence and transplant-related protocols
• Collaborate with the transplant team and ensure adherence to protocols

Compliance / Notes:

• Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Orientation: 40 hours of basic training, ongoing throughout the assignment
• Call-offs or additional requests for time off may lead to cancellation
• All required testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing
