Schedule: 8-hour Days, 8x5 Schedule Varies 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 1 summer holiday
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- GA licensed Occupational Therapist
- Required: AHA BLS Certification
- EMR: Cerner
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients based on physician orders.
- Support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, orthopedics, and general debility.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and functional independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding the therapy process and home programs.
