About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS Must-Have: - Required skills include accurate monitoring. - Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, and STEMI. - Familiarity with IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart procedures. - Experience in Interventional Radiology, including lines, drains, and embolizations. - Knowledge of neurointervention and CRM device implants is essential. Description: Cath Lab Tech needed for a busy cardiac cath lab. The position includes working with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The tech will assist in various procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and cardiac mapping. Experience in electrophysiology and vascular procedures is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable monitoring patients during procedures. Saturday shifts may be required as part of the regular schedule. On-call responsibilities include one shift per week and every fourth weekend. The tech may be required to float to different departments as needed. This position is not open to local candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility. Time off requests will be considered on an individual basis during the assignment. Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering recent work experience will be required.
