Baptist Health Medical Center- Hot Spring County (BHMC-HSC) is recruiting a hospitalist to join an existing hospitalist program. The program provides care to general medical and surgical patients in this 72-bed community hospital. BHMC-HSC is one of 13 hospitals in the Baptist Health System, which is the largest healthcare provider in the state of Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average of 15-20 patient encounters per shift, including on-site coverage and after-hours call.
• Provide medical consults for all psychiatric patients to manage any medical needs.

Qualifications

• Physician with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Strong clinical skills in general medical and surgical care.

Schedule & Compensation

The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off. There is a base salary with a competitive benefits package for a three-year contract. Additional incentive compensation is available based on patient satisfaction, quality, RVUs, and medical staff committee involvement.

Malvern is located 45 miles southwest of Little Rock. This city of 11,000 is located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and is well known for its man-made lakes: Catherine and DeGray.
