What a Typical Day Looks Like
In Paris, TX, you arrive, review work orders, and plan your setups. You load tooling, establish work offsets, verify your program, and run first-article parts to spec. Throughout the shift, you watch cycle performance, fine‑tune parameters, and keep machines running smoothly. You wrap up by validating dimensions with precision measuring instruments, logging results, and leaving a spotless, safe workstation.
Role Highlights- Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts that meet exact specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to guide production.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed for optimal output and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Complete in‑process and final quality checks using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with teammates to streamline processes and boost throughput.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace in line with company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is preferred.
- Documented experience as a CNC Machinist or closely related role.
- Fluency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation.
- Solid understanding of CNC programming concepts and machine operation.
- Comfort with a range of machining tools and related equipment.
- Keen attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
