As a proven industry leader, Fisher Industries continues to grow while maintaining the integrity and values of a family-owned company.POSITION SUMMARYThe Mechanical Assembler – Blasting Equipment will be responsible for assembling, installing and testing mechanical systems. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, follow detailed instructions, and ensure all assemblies meet quality standards. The Mechanical Assembler is a safety sensitive position that works primarily on new equipment assembly.This is an hourly position that reports directly to the Area Shop Foreman.PRIMARY DUTIESAssemble mechanical components including motors, pumps, valves, and structural assembliesInstall and route hydraulic lines, fittings and componentsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawingsUse hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembliesInspect and verify components meet specifications and quality standardsConduct leak test on pressure equipmentPerform basic electrical assembly including wiring and component installationWelding experience preferred but not requiredOperate equipment safely and efficiently including overhead cranes and forkliftsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentWork independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlinesWearing safety clothing and using protective equipmentREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and understand blueprints1+ years of shop experienceAttention to detailAbility to work with your handsBasic math and design skills.Technical CapacityThoroughnessTeamwork OrientationTime ManagementProblem solving/analysisFisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a drug-free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing.If you require an accommodation with applying, please email View email address on click.appcast.io or call the HR Department at View phone number on click.appcast.io to request accommodations.
