Physical Therapist (PT)

Overview Powerback is a national rehabilitation provider focusing on physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies for older adults and children. Responsibilities Assess patient needs and develop individualized recovery plans. Deliver physical therapy interventions to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities. Treat patients across a variety of settings including skilled nursing, assisted and independent living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. Teach patients and caregivers skills to promote independence and productivity. Collaborate with peers and refer patients to other care professionals as needed. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated as the U.S. equivalent.
