Production Technician

Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components. Responsibilities:

• Support small electrical sub-assemblies and perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and final vehicle integrations
• Support PCB assemblies into product chassis
• Support battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays
• Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes
• Conduct testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown
• Support the development of prototype test capabilities and life tests
• Assist in identifying, and implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform test setups across various regimes, including thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Associate degree
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company
• 1+ years of hands on work experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
• Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with electrical wiring
• Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed; Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 5 AM - 3:30 PM; 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2 AM
