Distribution Specialist, 2nd Shift @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

Position Summary: As a Distribution Specialist on the 2nd shift, your primary role is to coordinate and execute the timely shipment of orders, manage outbound logistics, and ensure accurate processing of all distributions with meticulous attention to detail. You'll deliver exceptional customer service, maintain a pristine and safe work environment, and effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and carriers. If you're organized, reliable, and ready to keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes, we'd like to hear from you. Hours for this position will be 7:00 pm - 3:30 am.

Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, opened in the Summer of 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What You'll Do:

• Process and Ship Orders : Prepare, package, and ship daily orders to ensure timely delivery to guests and departments.
• Coordinate Logistics : Work with carriers and delivery services to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Documentation Management : Complete shipping documents, labels, and manifests with accuracy and maintain detailed shipping logs.
• Quality Control : Verify order accuracy, inspect packages for proper labeling, and ensure items are securely packaged.
• Warehouse Systems : Use our computerized system to process shipments, update delivery statuses, and manage distribution records.
• Communication : Maintain professional interactions with team members, carriers, and external contacts via phone, email, and in person.
• Identify Issues : Record and report any shipping delays, damaged items, or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain Safety and Cleanliness : Ensure a safe, organized, and clean distribution area.
• Equipment Operation : Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Support Warehouse Operations : Help with other warehouse and distribution tasks as necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours.
• Navigate stairs, step ladders, and ladders for up to 2 hours daily.
• Occasionally lift to 70 lbs and regularly lift to 70 lbs.
