Quality Engineering Technical Support

Responsibilities Perform receiving inspection activities. Support First Article Inspection activities. Prepare reports and maintain records as required. Meet necessary certifications as required. Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required. Have a proven track record performing quality assurance inspections with minimal oversight. Perform configuration verification of all levels of assemblies and hardware. Verify that all operations have been completed and accepted, including acceptance testing. Verify all entries in the Factory Operating System have been completed and closed correctly at all configuration levels. Recognize and enforce compliance with Raytheon policies and procedures. Conduct high‑touch, in‑person inspection responsibilities critical for quality assurance. Work on two shifts; occasional overtime is offered; willingness to work the first shift for training is required. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 10 years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 8 years of QA inspection or manufacturing experience. Previous experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to the start date. Preferred Qualifications Experience performing inspections using assembly instructions and reading engineering drawings. Demonstrated understanding of engineering drawings, including reading and interpreting. Proficiency in torque and assembly methods/processes. Customer sell‑off experience; fostering excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DCMA). Familiarity with SAP and/or PRISM. Solid understanding of quality and engineering principles. Capable of communicating quality and engineering criteria/issues to all levels of factory personnel. Salary 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD.
