LISA Academy is seeking a dedicated and organized Library Aide to join our Springdale campus. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the school library, fostering a love of reading among students, and maintaining a high-quality educational environment.

LISA Academy is seeking a dedicated and organized Library Aide to join our Springdale campus. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the school library, fostering a love of reading among students, and maintaining a high-quality educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulation Management: Assist students and staff with checking books in and out using the library management system.
- Organization: Shelter returned books, maintain the physical order of the collection, and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Student Support: Guide students in locating appropriate reading materials and using library technology/research tools.
- Administrative Support: Help process new books, repair damaged materials, and prepare thematic library displays or reading promotional materials.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and quiet atmosphere conducive to learning and reading.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a library, school setting, or administrative role is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with basic computer software (Google Workspace/Office) and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Attributes: A passion for literacy and the ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
