Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Good Health Facility Department/Specialty: Patient Emergency Services Schedule: PRN -- Up to 2 shifts weekly w/weekend requirements How you'll make an impact in this role Orchestrate critical communications as the primary dispatcher for 13 Ascension Hospitals, ensuring emergency calls are answered with urgency and routed with 100% accuracy. Synchronize hospital-wide physician coverage by managing complex on‑call schedules across all specialties to ensure life‑saving care is always available. Lead emergency protocol execution by monitoring fire and life‑safety alarm panels, triggering rapid‑response procedures calmly and effectively during high‑stress incidents. Facilitate real‑time data flow by providing essential patient, department, and staff information to clinical teams, serving as a vital link in the care delivery chain. Uphold operational readiness by meticulously updating department documentation and schedules, ensuring the entire network has the right contact at the right time. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
