Family Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and support our two general dentists in providing excellent care to our patients.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, and takes pride in doing great work. If you enjoy working closely with dentists and teammates, connecting with patients, and being part of a practice where everyone plays an important role, we’d love to meet you.

A Current Radiology License/Certification Is Required

To work in this position, candidates must hold a current radiology license/certification required for dental assisting in Maine .

Previous dental assisting experience is a definite plus. We’re especially interested in someone who is comfortable in a clinical environment and can confidently support the doctor and patients throughout the day.

The ideal candidate is:

• Currently certified/licensed in radiology as required to work as a dental assistant in Maine
• Experienced in dental assisting preferred
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working chairside with a general dentist
• Friendly and compassionate with patients
• A strong communicator and team player
• Comfortable working in a busy dental environment
• Someone who takes initiative and is willing to jump in and help
• Professional, positive, and committed to providing excellent patient care
