Who YOU are: Bachelor’s degree and 5 plus years’ experience in a similar role at a financial institution. CAMS or CFE certification preferred Expert in identifying fraud red flags, reviewing transaction data, and managing fraud investigations. Skilled in review of unusual activities, case management, investigations, CDD, EDD, SAR documentation and reporting, CTR reviews, Sanctions/OFAC program requirements, and related regulation areas. Proficiency in using Fraud and BSA/AML transaction monitoring systems & case management systems Strong understanding of financial transactions (check, wire, cards, ACH, etc.) and financial accounts (savings, checking, loans, etc.) What YOU’LL do: Execute the Credit Union's Financial Crimes Program by performing independent investigations of suspected suspicious activities that may relate to, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and fraud. Develop and maintain reporting related to alerts, case volume, SAR filing, fraud losses. Perform CDD, EDD, high risk customer monitoring, CTR reviews and filing, and related activities. Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews related to fraud and AML risk. Stay abreast of current laws and of regulations to ensure compliance with the BSA/AML and Sanctions regulations. Assist employees of the Credit Union with any financial crimes related questions or concerns.
