CDL A Driver Company Overview:
Well-established company with 30+ years in business and continued growth. Located in Willoughby Hills, OH , they are looking to add experienced CDL A Drivers to their team.
Position Overview- CDL: Class A (Reefer)
- Transmission: Mostly automatic; some manual
- Fleet: Modern, generally 5 years old or newer
- Freight: Produce products
- Routes: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Cincinnati, and Buffalo, NY
- Stops: Typically 2–4 per day
- Freight Handling: Combination of touch and no-touch; drivers may occasionally load/unload using a pallet jack
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Start Time: Typically 4:00–5:00 AM
- Hours: Approximately 10–12 hours per day
- Routes: Drivers are generally kept on similar routes but may vary based on business needs.
- $24–$26/hour (depending on experience)
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Weekly pay
- Safety & retention bonuses: Up to $2,000 every 6 months
- Medical coverage after 90 days
- 401(k) with company match
- PTO & Paid Holidays
- 2–3 years of CDL A experience preferred
- OTR, regional, or long-haul local experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean MVR with zero license points
- No recent accidents
- MVR reviewed over the past 3-4 years
- No SAP drivers
- No previous DUIs
- No failed drug screenings
- No sexual or violent offenses
- No more than 3 total convictions
