Position Summary:
The Turret operator is responsible for operating and setting up CNC/AMADA machine. As the Turret operator you are also responsible for the cutting of metal parts and ensure they are cut to the right specification. Also set up and adjust the CNC machine to meet the correct specifications. Make sure all routine checks are done on the CNC machine before and after operation.

Position Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and specifications per the customer’s request.
• Work with others in a team setting.
• Load and unload the tooling for the machine.
• Maintain tooling to the proper standards.
• Knowledge of clearance needs on gauge differences.
• Load material into the CNC, pull program files and keep the machine running smoothly.
• Pulling parts for the machine.
• Maintaining a schedule of the machine.
• Quality control of all products that go through the machine.
• Troubleshoot/Maintenance on the machine.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment around the laser machine.

Skills:
• Sheet Metal experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Turret experience is required, Amada turret experience is preferred
