The Quoting Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and high-quality customer quotes in support of the commercial organization. This role operates in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment where speed, precision, and follow-through are critical to customer satisfaction and revenue execution. The Quoting Specialist partners closely with Sales, Finance, and other CS functions and works extensively in Salesforce. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and deliver customer quotes within defined SLA response times, ensuring clear, empathetic, and tailored communication that prioritizes customer needs. Validate customer requirements, product details, and pricing inputsprior to quote release, applying deep product knowledge and understanding of company policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. Enter, update, and manage quote data in Salesforcewith a high degree of precision, demonstrating strong systems proficiency and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with Salesto provide status updates, clarify requirements, and coordinate next steps, fostering a seamless team approach to meeting customer expectations. Identify and resolve incomplete or incorrect quote requeststhrough critical thinking and proactive problem‑solving, ensuring issues are addressed before impacting timelines. Escalate non‑standard pricing or complex requestsin accordance with established processes, using sound judgment to balance customer needs with business requirements. Maintain detailed documentation and audit trailswithin Salesforce to support compliance, quality standards, and future reference. Manage workload effectivelyto meet deadlines in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment, demonstrating strong time management skills. Support continuous improvement initiativesby identifying recurring issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance the quoting process. Model professionalism and influence team outcomes by sharing expertise, guiding peers, and contributing to a positive, collaborative work culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years of experience in quoting, sales operations, customer support, or a similar role. Hands-on experience using Salesforce (required); experience with CRM or quoting tools preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver customer‑centric communication that is clear, empathetic, and solution‑oriented. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment while maintaining quality and accuracy. Proven track record of applying critical thinking to resolve customer inquiries and complex requests. Experience supporting sales teams in a B2B environment, with familiarity in pricing structures, approvals, and contracts. High level of comfort with transactional work requiring precision and compliance with established processes. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Emotional intelligence to remain calm, professional, and positive during challenging interactions. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve shared goals and improve customer outcomes. Other duties may be assigned.
