About the Role:

As a Dietary Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional culinary care. You will manage a team of dietitians, cooks, and food service staff to provide delicious and nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our patients. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, managing inventory, and controlling food costs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the dietary staff, including dietitians, cooks, and food service staff

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients, including special diets and cultural preferences

• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including survey and accreditation readiness

• Manage inventory and control food costs to ensure efficient operations

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional patient care

• Mentor and train staff members to improve skills and knowledge

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a dietary management role, with a strong background in culinary arts and nutrition

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards

• CDM Certification
