Job Description:The Geriatrician functions as the attending physician for geriatric (and other) patients within one or more clinical venues of Hebrew Rehabilitation Center (HRC). Works closely with other members of the clinical care team including specialty consultants, nurse practitioners, therapists, nursing staff and other care providers. This position may also involve teaching responsibilities in connection with the Harvard Medical School Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine, for which HRC is a primary clinical teaching site.Hebrew SeniorLife employees set the highest standard in our commitment to redefine the experience of aging. Successful completion of ACGME accredited geriatric medicine fellowship program preferredLicense: Valid and unrestricted Massachusetts Medical License.Certification: American Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine currently valid or renewed (if needed) prior to expiration.ABIM added certification in geriatric medicine preferred.Federal DEA Certification.CPR, BLS, ACLS as indicated by specific practice location.Experience, gained in training and/or in practice, caring for seniors in long term chronic care, community or home settings.Experience delivering effective medical care within an inpatient environmentAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standardsKnowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertiseExperience working both independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertiseAbility to supervise, advise and train clinical professionals and/or students in areaRemote Type:On-siteSalary Range:$197,901.00 - $279,389.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
