PKS Cleaners & Alterations is a boutique dry cleaning and alterations business in Menlo Park. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented person to join our team.

The position involves mostly pressing shirts, performing light garment touch-ups, sorting clothing, and helping with garment bagging and preparation.

We are looking for someone with some previous pressing experience who enjoys working with clothing and takes pride in doing a good job.

Responsibilities

• Press shirts using a professional flat pressing iron.
• Perform light touch-ups using a gravity-feed steam iron.
• Sort and organize garments.
• Help with bagging and preparing finished garments.
• Check garments for wrinkles and overall appearance.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Assist with other garment-finishing tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Some previous garment pressing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of steam ironing and garment handling.
• Willingness to learn our procedures.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Experience in a dry cleaning business is a plus.

What We Offer

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
