Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position focuses on supporting students’ growth and development through consistent school-based OT services. You'll work closely with students and educational staff across sites assigned within the Darlington and Hartsville areas. Locations and final caseloads are determined at the beginning of the academic year, with a projected group of 50-60 students—many receiving consultative support. Hartsville sites likely include early childhood and elementary campuses.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in South Carolina
• Experience or strong interest in providing pediatric or school-based OT services
• Understanding of IEP procedures and goal development
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Strong organizational skills for managing a large caseload and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in alignment with each student's IEP
• Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor progress
• Complete the OT portion of IEP documentation, including present levels, annual OT goal development, and progress updates
• Manage Medicaid billing paperwork efficiently and accurately
• Offer consultative services and strategies to teachers and caregivers, ensuring the best outcomes for students
• Travel between assigned school sites as scheduled
