Automotive Accessories Sales Associate

Description SUMMARY The principal responsibility of this position is to promptly and courteously serve dealership customers, deliver quality accessory sales presentations , coordinate product installations working closely with sales, service and part department personnel. Individual initiative is required to develop presentation strategies. Reporting directly to the Fixed Operations Director, this position requires a self-starter with patience and tact who can relate well with dealership customers and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES: Promptly and courteously serve dealership customers in person and over the phone while delivering the “Ultimate Dealership Experience" Develop and deliver accessory sales presentations Accurately record all accessory sales department sales activity Document presentation and sales performance ratios Investigate new products to meets needs of dealership customers Conduct post accessory installation inspections with customers and sales staff Educate sales staff about new products while building awareness of existing product lines Promote accessory sales by conducting meetings with sales staff to build product awareness Coordinate all activities with designated accounting personnel Maintain professional appearance Other duties may be assigned WHAT WE OFFER: Medical and Dental 401(k) Plan Paid Time Off Employee Vehicle Purchase Plans Long Term Job Security Health and Wellness Clinic Discounts on Products and Services Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of two years accessories experience Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections and negotiating pricing Have quality customer service skills Possess strong communication skills Must have a clean and valid driver’s license Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen (Chalmers Ford is a drug-free employer) Work a Full Time schedule which may include Saturdays
