Role Description
DEPT® is seeking a highly analytical and technical Architect Software Engineer (Adobe - AJO, AEP, RTCDP) to join our forward-deployed architecture squad in North America. This role is a hands-on architect seat, specializing in:
- Real-time streaming pipeline tuning
- Profile stitching optimization
- Database-to-platform ingestion modeling
- Automated lifecycle program orchestration
You will step directly into complex enterprise environments to:
- Audit and optimize identity configurations
- Resolve database identity collisions
- Re-design streaming pipeline rules to ensure high-accuracy profile matching
- Build, test, and stabilize broken multi-channel automated campaigns
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience focusing on data pipeline engineering, customer database modeling, or marketing automation.
- Deep technical command of ETL pipelines, relational database schemas, real-time trigger mechanics, and destination connectors.
- Expert, hands-on configuration authority across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT-CDP), and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
- Direct development experience utilizing AEP Federated Audience Composition (FAC) or zero-copy strategies with enterprise warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Extensive experience configuring schemas, segmentations, and automated campaigns within Marketo Engage and Adobe Campaign (v7/v8).
- Ability to collaborate closely with analytics engineers to validate campaign-link attribution and tracking.
