Hourly Range:- $45.00 - $55.00/hr (Based on Experience & Incentives) ALL INCLUSIVE

Shift Differentials:

·        $1 for Evening and night shifts on Weekdays

·        $3 for Evening and night shifts on Weekends

No Frills Program For Full-Time Employees: If you opt for no benefits (no vacation, sick time, personal days, or holidays), you’ll earn an additional $3/hour on top of your base pay.

At Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center , we believe that high-quality respiratory care is essential to supporting residents with complex pulmonary needs and improving overall quality of life. Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Respiratory Therapist provides skilled assessment, treatment, and education to residents requiring respiratory support across the care continuum.

Responsibilities for Respiratory Therapist:

• Perform comprehensive chest assessments and respiratory examinations for a diverse resident population.

• Consult with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, evaluate, and modify individualized treatment plans.

• Perform diagnostic testing, including lung capacity measurements and evaluation of blood gas levels.

• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.

• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent residents, including initiation of ventilator support when necessary.

• Conduct regular monitoring of residents’ respiratory status and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.

• Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments, equipment use, and medication administration.

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and resident progress in accordance with clinical standards.

Qualifications for Respiratory Therapist:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care required.

• Current state licensure required.

• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.

• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management in a skilled nursing facility, LTACH, or hospital setting required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage residents, families, and clinical teams.
