Hospice Aide (HHA)

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Hospice Aides (HHAs) to join our team and make a lasting impact. As a Certified Hospice Aide (HHA), you will be a vital member of our interdisciplinary care team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes. You’ll help ensure comfort, dignity, and safety for patients during their end‑of‑life journey. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care. Assist with ambulation, exercise, and range‑of‑motion activities as directed. Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding as needed. Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) when ordered. Support patients with self‑administration of medications. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for patients. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties as appropriate. Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse. Attend interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to care planning. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to agency standards. Qualifications Active California Home Health Aide Certification. Current CPR certification. At least 18 years of age. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Empathy and compassion for patients and families. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance. Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients; prolonged standing and walking required. Compensation Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour. Job Type Job Type: Full‑Time, Part‑Time, Per Diem.
