Store Counter Sales (Part Time)

Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales (Part Time) role at NAPA Auto Parts . We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is important. This role is a great opportunity whether you aim to build a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, want flexible hours, or are exploring other career paths within our company. What You Will Be Doing Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone Using your parts knowledge to assist team members with customer questions Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores Engaging retail customers to ensure a positive experience Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts and service questions Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with or repairing cars and trucks Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience Want to grow your career within a supportive team environment What You’ll Need Valid Driver’s License Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus Excellent communication skills Enjoy fast-paced retail environments Strong listening skills and empathy for customers Additional Preferences (Not a Deal Breaker) Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems Customer-centric attitude ASE Certifications What’s In It For You Great team and brand Competitive pay Health benefits and 401K Stable, Fortune 200 company with a family feel Opportunities for promotion and career development Comprehensive training and ongoing support If it’s not the right fit, join our Talent Community or set up email alerts for future opportunities at jobs.genpt.com.
