Are you a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery RN looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a highly qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with 4+ years of experience to join our dedicated healthcare team.

Position overview: As an experienced Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide exceptional care to women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for both mothers and babies, providing the highest standard of nursing care in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Administer medications and IV fluids as per physicians orders
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and other interventions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Act as an advocate for patients' needs and preferences

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York State
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in obstetrics
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
