Summary Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Dispatcher to join our service team. The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling Field Service Technicians in response to customer breakdown calls and scheduled maintenance requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Opens new service calls and breakdown work orders Dispatches technicians to customers using GPS and related services for efficient dispatch Keeps customers informed of current service call status according to procedures Prioritizes urgent, emergency, and after‑hours calls and follows through to resolution Prioritizes and follows up on all National Account and iTrack customers, maintains and updates systems as it relates to service calls and statuses, and adheres to IVR procedures and reporting Receives reports of accidents involving Raymond equipment and vehicles and promptly communicates information to appropriate personnel for action Maintains a list of customer trucks that will not be repaired within a 24‑hour timeframe and keeps customers informed of repair progression Reviews customer‑specific or special billing notes prior to opening work orders to ensure accurate billing Required Skills and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, coworkers, and managers in other departments Willingness to work off‑hours as needed, including mandatory Saturdays Willingness to assume additional responsibility as required Education and Experience Two years dispatch experience required High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements Position is sedentary and desk‑bound Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling required Occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds required Pay Range Hourly range: $21.00 – $23.00. Specific pay offered may be influenced by experience, education, and work location.
