Esarey Construction is seeking an additional Project Manager to lead residential home addition projects with excellence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to homeowner satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone with leadership ability, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

We specialize exclusively in home additions. Our projects involve multiple construction phases, detailed schedules, numerous trades, and homeowners who may continue living in the home throughout construction. Project Managers are responsible for keeping these moving parts organized while ensuring the homeowner feels informed, respected, and confident in our team.

Our Project Managers guide each project from the internal handoff through final completion. They coordinate subcontractors, in-house crews, schedules, materials, inspections, and project documentation while monitoring workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and adherence to the approved scope.

We are looking for someone who can lead people effectively, take ownership of results, remain organized under pressure, and represent Esarey Construction with integrity. Experience managing residential construction or home addition projects is valuable; however, we are willing to prioritize the right character, leadership ability, and cultural fit over the longest construction résumé. Skills can be developed, but accountability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving others are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Manage residential home addition projects from internal handoff through final completion
• Review approved scopes of work, drawings, selections, budgets, and project requirements
• Serve as the homeowner’s primary point of contact during construction
• Provide proactive updates and respond professionally to questions or concerns
• Coordinate subcontractors, in-house crews, materials, inspections, and construction schedules
• Confirm upcoming work with contractors and identify scheduling conflicts before they affect the project
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with the approved scope
• Inspect completed work at the end of each major construction phase
• Document jobsite activity through schedules, daily logs, photos, notes, and project records
• Help resolve jobsite challenges quickly, calmly, and professionally
• Track open items, homeowner decisions, material needs, and contractor commitments
• Coordinate punch-list completion, final inspections, and project closeout
• Protect the homeowner’s property and minimize disruption throughout construction
• Communicate closely with the Production Manager and the rest of the Esarey Construction team

• Residential construction or home addition experience is helpful
