Intervention Specialist – Special Education | Toledo, OH

About the Role:
We are seeking a Special Education Intervention Specialist to join a school team in Toledo, OH. This is a full-time opportunity supporting students with special education needs through individualized instruction, implementation of IEPs, and ongoing progress monitoring.

The Intervention Specialist will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school leadership to provide consistent academic and behavioral support and help students make meaningful progress.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Provide direct instruction and specialized interventions based on student needs.

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate student documentation.

• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families and school staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.

• Strong knowledge of special education practices and IEP requirements.
