Platform Automation Developer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 12 years of U.S. experience as specified for client screening.
• Strong software development experience with Python and hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs, including API-driven and event-driven integrations.
• Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, infrastructure automation, and orchestration.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Service Catalog, and workflow integrations.
• Experience with Git/GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and automated workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with infrastructure architects, developers, and engineering teams; strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: experience with event-driven architecture, message queues, VM and Kubernetes provisioning, CMDB/DCIM and inventory or asset-management integrations, inventory synchronization, Dynatrace or comparable monitoring tools, operational workflow automation, Day-0 through Day-N infrastructure automation, and enterprise private cloud or large-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders and available to complete the clients screening and background-verification process.
• First Advantage (FADV) is the only authorized background-check provider for this requirement.
• Candidates should be prepared to provide relevant employment and experience verification documentation.

• Design, develop, and maintain platform automation services using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build REST API integrations and orchestration services across enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Develop event-driven integrations, message-based workflows, and API-based synchronization services.
• Connect ServiceNow Service Catalog, APIs, and workflows with infrastructure platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management, including Terraform- and Ansible-based workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitOps deployment workflows.
• Develop orchestration for virtual machine and Kubernetes provisioning.
• Integrate CMDB, DCIM, inventory, asset-management, and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace to support event processing and operational automation.
• Automate incident management, change management, and other operational workflows.
• Support infrastructure onboarding and Day-0 through Day-N platform operations.
• Work with architects and engineers to turn technical requirements and designs into maintainable, production-ready software.
