Position : Full-time Truck Equipment Accessory Installer

Location : Meyer Truck Equipment, Evansville, IN

Who We're Looking For : We're growing and looking for a full-time Truck Equipment Accessory Installer to join our incredible team.

Responsibilities :

• Install various truck accessories, including bed covers, nerf bars, lift kits, gooseneck hitches, winches, warning lights, and more.
• Opportunity to customize work trucks/vans with proper experience.
• Work effectively in a shop atmosphere with minimal oversight.
• Troubleshoot and read electrical diagrams.
• 12-volt wiring experience is preferred.

• Knowledgeable about different tools and equipment.

• Able to lift a truck battery without injury.
• Skilled at taking things apart and putting them back together.
• Self-motivated and able to work well with others in a shop environment.
• Not afraid to ask for help to avoid electrocution.
• Positive attitude when attempting something new.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Ability to find solutions to installation issues using teammates, the web, and manufacturer tech support.
• Adaptability to change pace and direction when working on multiple jobs.
• Able to listen and follow directions.
• Willingness to ask for help when needed.
• Open to constructive criticism and continuous improvement.
• Dependable attendance.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Vocational degree (preferred but not required).
• 1 year of 12-volt wiring experience (required).
• Valid driver's license (required).

Pay : $17.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule :

• 8-hour shift.
• Day shift (Monday to Friday).
• Overtime available.
